What it does
Turns customer conversations into answers your team can check.
Tacari reads your interviews, calls and support chats closely. It picks out what people actually said, instead of writing a loose summary. From that it builds themes, problems and ideas, and the documents your team needs. Every finding keeps the quote it came from. Anyone reading it, on your team or another one, can click through to the person who said it and the conversation it came from.
Founders, product managers and product teams
At growing software companies that sell to other businesses, usually 10 to 75 people, who talk to their own customers.
No dedicated researcher
At this size there is no research team. Whoever takes the call does it on top of their real job, and what they learn can stay in their head.
Findings you can check
When someone asks "who said that?", the answer is right there on the page. No digging through old recordings.
Where it goes
Ask for the document you need, when you need it.
One person usually runs the interviews, but what customers said is useful to the whole company. There is no fixed list of documents. You say what you need in plain words, like a product brief, notes for a sales call, or a summary for leadership. It is always written from the same customer quotes, so nobody has to redo the research to get a different answer.
Ask a question straight after a call
Once you add a conversation, Tacari pulls out what was said, ready to quote. Nobody has to listen again and write it up first. If an answer is worth keeping, save it as a document in one click, with its quotes still attached.
Built for the team
Everyone on the project sees the same thing.
Add a teammate to the project and they aren't reading someone's notes from a meeting they missed. They see the same quotes, the same choices about what to trust, and the same sources, as they change. The person who ran the interview isn't the only one who knows what was said.
How it works
How it works, in three steps.
You add a conversation
A call transcript, a support thread, a usability session. Tacari reads the whole conversation, not just keywords.
It picks out what people said
Each separate point becomes its own note, labelled and linked to the exact moment it was said.
A document that shows its work
Every finding keeps its quotes. When there is little evidence, it says so instead of pretending it's a pattern.
Most people leave checkout at the delivery-schedule step , not at price . "I didn't actually know if I was signing up for every month or every three." In the product, this jumps to the exact moment in the conversation "The price was fine, I just wanted to know when it would actually charge me." In the product, this jumps to the exact moment in the conversation
People leave checkout when they can't tell when they'll be charged.
- 4 agree
- 1 partly agrees
- 1 disagrees
Pays once a year, so the billing date was never a worry. Their worry was delivery cost.
The difference
It isn't the writing. It's what's underneath it.
"Users consistently struggle with the setup flow, indicating a clear need to simplify onboarding."
Two participants independently misread the same billing step as the point they nearly quit.
About Tacari
Built for what happens after the conversation.

15+ years in product, design and customer research. Previously Cisco, MYOB and Veyor Digital.
I'm Jimmy Keogh, founder of Tacari.
I started out at Cisco, working on telepresence and collaboration tools like Jabber and WebEx. For more than 15 years since, I've worked across product, design and customer research, helping software teams understand what their customers need and decide what to build.
I kept seeing the same challenge. Talking to customers is essential, but turning those conversations into clear, well-supported decisions takes real work. Insights get buried in transcripts, patterns are hard to see, and the reasoning behind a decision gets lost.
So I started Tacari, for founders and growing product teams who make decisions from customer conversations but don't have a research department.
Tacari turns those conversations into themes, problems and opportunities, and the documents your team needs, with every finding connected to what people actually said. When a finding shapes a decision, you can see who said it, where people agree, and where they don't.
I'm opening Tacari to a small number of pilot teams first.
The belief behind Tacari
Software is faster to build than ever. Knowing what to build isn't.
